Spiritual Life

All students and staff attend weekly chapel services that include musical worship and Bible teaching. Chapel speakers include TCA staff and friends of the school from local churches and ministries. Middle and High School students have the opportunity to join the worship team which leads worship during chapel. 

Throughout the year we breakout into Discipleship Groups for Chapel. These groups provide students with a safe space where they can speak candidly on spiritual issues, ask questions, pray, and be discipled by a caring and godly adult.

Upper School students at TCA retreat once a year. High School retreats for three days and two nights in the fall (September) while middle school retreats two days and one night in the winter (January). God is not more present at the retreat site than he is at TCA but we are less distracted and therefore tend to listen to the counsel of His word more attentively.

TCA offers students a variety of ministry outlets and opportunities.

The Student Leadership and Ministries group led by Dr. Matthew Dunn provides students with opportunities to serve the immediate TCA community. Students are encouraged to apply to join this group a year in advance.

The Student Praise Team led by Mr. Ryan Davis provides students with musical and vocal opportunities to lead their peers in worship during our weekly chapels and annual retreats.

Lower School discipleship groups provide select students with an opportunity to minister to their younger peers with the support of elementary teachers.

All High School students are required to complete 10 hours of Christian service each school year which they will receive school credit for. Please note that this is a graduation requirement.
